Meet the Trainers
Christa
Owner and Head Trainer
Christa is the founder and head trainer of Freedom Dogs, bringing over a decade of professional dog training experience to every program she designs. She launched Freedom Dogs in 2014 after years of hands-on work with family dogs, working dogs, and behavior cases.
Before starting Freedom Dogs, Christa owned and operated All Star Dogs, a training company she purchased from another trainer in 2011 while based in Florida. That experience allowed her to step into an established program, refine her training philosophy, and work with a wide variety of breeds, behavior challenges, and client goals.
As owner and head trainer, Christa personally oversees all board and train programming. Every dog in the program lives directly with her and receives full time care, structured routines, and customized training built around the dog’s personality and the family’s lifestyle. Her approach is intentional and practical, focused on real world application rather than rigid, one size fits all methods.
Christa believes that clarity, consistency, and confidence are the foundation of effective dog training. By integrating training into everyday life, she helps dogs develop reliable manners, calmer behavior, and the ability to handle new environments with more ease. Owner education and long term support are core parts of her programs so success continues well beyond the training period.
Jonathan Aranda
Trainer and Private Lesson Specialist
Jonathan Aranda is a trainer with Freedom Dogs who works closely with clients through in person private lessons. His role focuses on hands-on coaching, reinforcing training concepts, and supporting owners as they continue their dog’s education at home.
Jonathan works fully in line with the Freedom Dogs philosophy, emphasizing clear communication, structure, and consistency. Through private dog training lessons, he helps bridge the gap between professional training and everyday routines so owners feel confident using the techniques and maintaining progress over time.
Our Training Philosophy
Freedom Dogs is built on the belief that great dog training is personal. Every dog is an individual and every family has a unique dynamic. By combining in home board and train programs with personalized private lessons, we create thoughtful training plans that support both the dog and the owner.
With experienced leadership, hands on care, and a focus on real world results, our team is dedicated to helping dogs and their families build calmer, more confident, and lasting relationships.
